New to teaching, or feeling uninspired?
Perhaps I can help!

Illumina Yoga, a practical guide to luminous teaching

The actual manual is coming soon!  Hurray! In the mean-time,  I would be delighted to share with you my template for creating classes that shimmer from within.  Learn how to create a complete journey for your students by threading simple truths from your own human experience seamlessly through your classes, with creative pulsation, dynamic sequencing, pranayama, meditation and inspiration.

It is my experience that the most powerful teachers are the ones who can filter their understanding of the questions underlying yoga through the colors of their own experience and can be on the journey with their students rather than teaching to them!

For Studios:
If you're a studio with a teacher training program, I will be happy to come in and give a half or full day seminar.  It might make an excellent module addition to your current curriculum! There will be lots of interaction, exercises and practice teaching!

Topics for consultations and seminars will include:

*How to find inspiration in the moment!
*Learn where that inspiration lies in the physical and energetic body!
*Tap into creative pulses that come from you, but are resonant to all people!
*Learn the power of applying the principles of vayu and chakra energy to weave the journey you want to create for your students!
*How to physically embody the energy you want in the room!

"Jo has inspired me in more ways than I can explain. Her classes explore spirit, mind, body, breath, anger, voice, stillness, control, the inner reggae beat, the outer skin of concern, the forgotten self, the neglected desires, the booty, the boogie and the  badidibadidida.  Classes with Jo always begin with a moment of contemplation.  She usually asks the students to focus on one aspect of their lives and/or bodies...an obstacle, a twinge of regret, a loose moment of euphoria that has somehow slipped away...she will often offer a quote and her own experience with this same focus...her voice is soft and contemplative, reverent...she has created an intimacy in which anything is possible and everything is a celebration.  Then we flow with her unique, quirky and celebratory choreography! Best of all, she always feels like she's experiencing it for the first time. Jo is dancing, leaping, breathing, opening, yelling, punching, boogying, and galloping for the first time too.  She is our fearless leader, but she also doesn't know what lies ahead.  She is just brave enough to say "Yippee! The Unknown!"
